Rumbaché has established itself as one of the Bay Area’s hottest salsa bands, with the East Bay Express proclaiming percussionist and leader Patricio Angulo “one of the rising talents of the Bay Area Latin music scene.” Fusing salsa, timba, bomba and whatever else they can find to spice up the mood, the group interprets the Cuban and salsa repertoire without being shy about adding their own expression. With fresh originals that make them stand-out among an otherwise cover-heavy salsa scene, they are the voice of youth for San Francisco's salsa scene, igniting enthusiasm in dancers and musical connoisseurs alike. Rumbaché has previously performed at San Jose Jazz Summer Fest, Sonoma Jazz Festival, Benbow Summer Arts & Music Festival, The Blue Macaw, La Peña Cultural Center and Sausalito Seahorse....
