About

Stanley Clarke was a 20-year-old wunderkind on acoustic and electric basses when he appeared on Chick Corea's first Return to Forever recordings in the early '70s. Well-known for his longtime musical collaborations with the late George Duke, the four-time Grammy award-winning Clarke is now touring in support of his recent release UP. The album features members of his current touring group – acoustic pianist Beka Goshiashvili; keyboardist Cameron Graves; and drummer Michael Mitchell – as well as an exciting mix of up-and-coming musicians and legendary veterans. Moving seamlessly between acoustic and electric formats, the group unveils new compositions and re-invigorates vintage themes.
