Ann Whittington never stops refining and redefining her musical vision. As a singer/songwriter, Whittington’s warm and welcoming voice has been serenading Bay Area music fans for years with an ever-evolving style of storytelling through song. She enlists the best of Santa Cruz jazz talent for her eclectic projects, and her current group is no exception. Performing with her is a first-string, veteran lineup featuring Phil Smith on tenor saxophone and flute, Gino Raugi on guitar, Bill Bosch on bass, Olaf Schiapicasse on drums, and Jim Greiner on percussion. Her two CDs, Symphony of Stars and The Great Dreamer, spotlight Whittington’s original compositions.
