His accomplishments as a composer, trombonist, and educator, loom large on the Bay Area music scene and beyond. As a sideman, he has worked with a variety of international stars that range from Aretha Franklin, Steve Winwood, Santana and Earth Wind & Fire. But Wallace’s Latin Jazz Quintet is his special labor of love and where his musical soul resides. His quintet features the talents of Murray Low – keyboards; Dave Belove – electric bass; Colin Douglas – drums and Michael Spiro – percussion.
