Mary D'orazi at Copperfield's Books (novato)

Vocalist Mary D’Orazi teams up with pianist/composer/arranger Marcos Silva to present music from her recent release “To Brasil and Bacharach: A Tribute.” Accompanying them will be Brendan Neutra on bass and Greg German on drums.

D'Orazi's debut CD is a compilation of favorite Bacharach songs and those of various Brazilian composers, such as Jobim, Toninho Horta, and Ivan Lins. Silva created evocative arrangements and was musical director for the album, which has garnered praise from Burt Bacharach himself.

Opening will be guitarist Dillon Ingram and his ensemble.
